1803 Large 8 H10c PCGS VF35 ![]()
A wholly original example with even medium grey color. Overall coin exhibits great detail for the grade and deserves the CAC designation. Coin has a slightly uneven strike exhibited by some weakness in the stars on the left obverse which is common for the date.
$4,450
1874 Arrows 10c NGC MS69
This spectacular coin is easily the finest 1874 dime known to exist, it’s also the finest ‘With Arrows’ type known as well. One of only three Seated Dimes of any date to be graded MS69 by either PCGS or NGC, this is a true “miracle of preservation”. The surfaces are virtually flawless with intense white centers that are surrounded by blue, green, and russet edges. The strike is equally astounding. No photograph could do this coin justice! Although this coin would be at home in the finest collection of Seated Dime, it would also be a highlight in a world class type set or assemblage of impressive type coins.
$59,500
1795 50c NGC XF40 Overton 110
Recut Date, Two Leaves variety. Pleasant original toning fully covers both sides of this scarce flowing hair half dollar. Color is even throughout with an average strike and detail that is commensurate with the assigned grade. Minor adjustment marks at the peripheries on the reverse do not detract. This coin is the perfect addition for a mid-grade type set.
$9,400
1873-CC Arrows 50c PCGS MS64 ![]()
By any measure, this is a truly rare coin. As with any low mintage Carson City issue, the majority of surviving 73-CC halves are well-circulated or mishandled. This perfectly preserved coin is a welcome exception. The surfaces are unquestionably original with streaks of golden toning over intense luster and flawlessly struck devices. Worthy of the finest collection of Liberty Seated Halves or assemblage of Carson City rarities.
$36,000
1922 Grant Star 50c PCGS MS65
Virtually white with plenty of mint luster. Pleasing satin look with this commem’s trademark die polish plainly visible in both obverse fields. Effectively mark-free and certainly a premium MS65 example. This is one of the keys to a gem commem set, and the issue has performed very well in recent years compared to other gem commems in terms of value. From a small original mintage of 4,256 coins, a very small percentage have survived at the gem level.
